Chestnut Leaves A useful remedy in whooping-cough, especially in the early stage, with dry, ringing, violent, spasmodic cough. Desire for warm drinks. Very thirsty. Loss of appetite. Diarrhoea. Thick urine. Lumbago, weak back, can hardly straighten up.
