This remedy seems to possess a specific relation to the spleen. Ague cake of malaria. A left-sided rem- edy generally. Anaemic patients where liver and spleen are at fault. Chronic bronchitis with profuse secretion.

Abdomen

Enormous enlargement of the spleen. Splenitis; pain all up the left side. Violent dyspnoea. Menses profuse, and yellow weakening leucorrhcea. Unable to lie on left side. Ain in liver and back.

Rectum

Diarrhcea; bearing down in abdomen and Urine. -- Green; frothy; contains bile, sugar.

Modalities

Worse, motion, lying on left side.

Relationships

Compare: Tinospora cordifolia (a Hindoo medicine for chronic cases of fever with en- larged spleen). Polymuia uvedalia (acute splenitis with tenderness over left hypochondria region; spleen enlarged, ague cake. Vascular atony, tissues sodden, Aabby and non-elastic. Enlarged glands; influences all ductless glands.) Compare: Berberis; Myrica; Cedron.

Dose

First attenuation. Locally as hair tonic.
