Viscum Album
Mistletoe
The symptoms point especially to rheumatic and gouty c complaints; neuralgia, especially sciatica. Epi- lepsy, chorea, and metrorrhagia. Rheumatic deafness. Asthuma. Spinal pains, due to uterine causes. Rheuma- tism with traring pains. Arterial hypertension. Hyper- tensive albuminuria. Valvular disease, with disturbances in sexual sphere.
Head
Feeling as if whole vault of skull were lifted up. Blue rings around eyes. Double vision. Buz- ing and stopped-up feeling in ear. Deafness fruu old. Facial muscles in constant agitation.
Female
Hamorrhage, with pain; blood partly 779 clots and bright red. Climacteric complaints. [Lach.; Sulph.] Pain from sacrum into pelvis, with tearing, shooting pains from above downwards. Retained pla- cent. [Secale.] Chronic endometritis.
Respiratory
Dyspncea; feeling of suffocation whcu lying on left side. Spasmodic cough .Isthma, if con- nected with gout or rheumatism.: Stertorous breathing.
Heart
Hypertrophy with valvular insufficiency; pulse small and weak; unable to rest in a reclining position. Palpitation during coitus. Failing compensa- tion, dyspncea worse lying on left side. Weight and oppression of heart; as if a hand were squeezing it; tickling sensation about heart.
Extremities
Pains alternate ir the knee and ankle with shoulder and elbow. Sciatica. Tearing, shooting pains in both thighs and upper extreinities. A glorv rises from the feet to the head; seems to be on fire. Periodic pains from sacrum into pelvis, worse " Fcd, with pains into thighs and upper extremities. General tremor, as if all niuscles were in state of fbril- lary contraction. Dropsy of extremities.
Modalities
W'ors. winter, cold, stormy weather; in bed. Movement; Iying on left side.
